MULTICOMPRESSION
THERAPY

Multicompression therapy is a sophisticated clinical intervention that applies multiple layers of graduated bandages to create a therapeutic sub-bandage pressure (SBP) profile, governed by LaPlace’s Law. This system offers the distinct advantages of reversing venous hypertension and assisting the calf muscle pump to significantly enhance venous return, which reduces chronic edema and prevents the accumulation of inflammatory exudate. By providing high working pressure during ambulation and a tolerable resting pressure, it creates an optimal environment for the healing of stasis dermatitis and chronic ulcerations. This treatment is primarily indicated for patients with Venous Leg Ulcers (VLUs) or Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) who possess a sufficient Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) of ≥ 0.8, ensuring the safe and effective management of lower-limb circulatory disorders.
